Privacy notice for the beta sign-up
Version 2026-10-26 · 26 October 2026
Who we are
Court.LIVE is run by Panache Consulting BV, Boskant 30, 3945 Tessenderlo-Ham, Belgium (enterprise number BE 0682.813.484). We decide why and how the details on this page are used, so we are the controller. You can reach us at beta@courtlive.app.
What we store
When you sign up for the beta we store:
- your first name, last name and email address
- your sports, playing level, phone (iPhone or Android), role (player, coach or both) and club, if you give one
- the language of the page you used
- when you agreed to this notice, and which version of it
- the status of your sign-up: unconfirmed, confirmed, invited or unsubscribed
- a short-lived, scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address. We use it only to stop automated sign-ups and delete it within about a day (the counter expires after 2 hours, and the automatic deletion can take up to a day longer). We do not keep your IP address itself.
Why we store it
To send you a confirmation email, to invite you to test builds of Court.LIVE (for iPhone through TestFlight, for Android through an internal build), and to keep automated sign-ups out. We do this because you agree to it by ticking the box. We do not use your details for anything else, and we do not sell them.
How long we keep it
- Not confirmed: about 30 days, then it is deleted automatically (this can take up to a day longer).
- Confirmed: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- After you unsubscribe: we erase everything except your email address. We keep that so we do not email you again, until you ask us to delete it. If you want to sign up again, you can do so with that address after 24 hours, with a new consent and a new confirmation email.
- Copies of the emails we send are kept for about 7 days, and deleted within a day after that.
Who handles it for us
We use two services to run the sign-up. They only act on our instructions.
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud, in the EU: the database and the server functions in Belgium (europe-west1).
- To send email: Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), from beta@courtlive.app.
Withdraw or ask for deletion
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To see, correct or delete your details, or to ask us anything about this notice, write to beta@courtlive.app. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In Belgium that is the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (Autorité de protection des données).
Cookies
The sign-up pages set no cookies. They remember your light or dark choice in your browser, on your device only.
Changes
If this notice changes, it gets a new version number. The version you agreed to is stored with your sign-up.
